It's different because if a PSA recruiter is actively advertising/recruiting they are representing the company and therefore abusing the "no advertising" rule of the forum. As a pilot who isn't working for an HR department and talks about his/her company hiring it's just conversation. Anyone working for HR coming on here to advertise would be against the rules in my interpretation. That's just my opinion though, I'm not a moderator so i"m just going to b*#&@ about it.

Also, He isn't going to make any money from what he is doing so it's difficult to call it advertising or soliciting.
Everyone who works at Skywest always makes it well known that its great to work there. Is that advertising too?
What about the JetBlue union thread. There are lots of guys in there "selling" ALPA. Is that advertising?
You have Alaska in your name. Do you work for the State of Alaska? Must be advertising!!!
It's a reach, at best.
