I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that I've been around the block longer than at least 75% of the flight crews here. I still get misty eyed when I see an occasional B727 taxi in because I cut my teeth on that bird fresh out of A&P school. (That was before they hung the Tays on them)

Let's see. Started with the B727, DC8, B757, A300, took a break, now I see A320, CRJ, ERJ, B737 and some bizjets on occasion. And all I know about DHC-8's & Q's can be summed up in about three words.

So no, not a total troll reporter.
