As well as make FMS inputs and touch the chimes/lights when passing through 10k/18k, etc.

PIC has always been preferred over SIC.

Why do we hit the same questions every 5 years on these forums ?

Tomorrow, somebody is gonna ask "Why do military guys seem to get airline interviews"

5 years? More like 5 days.

What's better, Airbus or Boeing?

What's better, ERJ or CRJ?

What's the best headset to use?

Who makes the best airport friendly shoes?

What's the best roller bag?

What's the best flight case to get?

Bancroft or the other hat? Speaking of, to wear the hat or not if given the option?

Leather jacket or blazer?

Commute or move to base?

Commute to a line or live in base and sit reserve?

Who has the quickest upgrade?

UAL, DAL, or AA?

FedEx or UPS?

Stay at the LCC or jump ship to a legacy?

Which base has the best lines?

SKW, RAH, or XJT?

Quickest upgrade has always been the fastest route to the majors if you can't go the military route.

this is in the "uh duhhh" category. Kinda of like posting that "quickest way home is HOV lane if you don't own a helicopter"

I keep hearing the sweet spot in PIC is 1000-1500 hours. Below that you're unqualified, above that you're untrainable.

I had 3k TPIC everyone in my new hire class at a legacy had well over 1k times ranged from 6000-14000 TT with 1000-ish to 7000+ TPIC. All were 121 commuter guys. The ex-mil and corp guys had a lot less, obviously.

So, no.

Nope. Lowlut does not yet work for a Major.
