Default Regionals hiring at 250tt?

So I've heard some vicious rumors over the past couple of weeks that major regionals are going to be lowering there mins to 250tt and just a multi rating is required. I knew they were desperate but is this true?

No one from ATP that I know of. I think most are from UND and Riddle's Capt. Program.

Mesa will hire that low, but there's two catches...

1) You have to pay them $80K first.

2) Then you have to work at mesa

well i go to RAA, I'm sick of it here, i'm just ready to start and finish my CFI
i know it takes alot of preparation and studying to make it through training at the airlines, but ive been ready for that for a long time, i've flown multiple jets as SIC and i've done transition courses for the ERJ and CRJ
do you have to have 100 hours multi with the 250 tt or just the tt and some multi?
