And I enjoy your new heights being reached as a left-wing zealot. The attacks that you unleash on me are right from chapter 4 of their playbook. At least you could be a little original.

I didn't attack you at all...in fact, my post wasn't even meant for you.

It was intended as a warning for those looking into RAH to not take your view of events seriously and I used the fact that you seem ignorant of one of the most significant recent events affecting life at this company and the name of the person most involved it.

You lied about your number of days off. I had to correct the record on that.

You complain about the IBT not caring about pilot's views, yet you refused to complete a survey by the union intended to gauge those views.

Your posts demonstrate an unreasonable, irrational, self-centered person that seems Ill-informed and disconnected from reality.

Regardless, I think those following your posts have little question as to your credibility and honesty, so I'd say that, for now at least, my work here is finished.

Take note everyone: if sqwkvfr doesn't agree with you, you will be labeled as self-centered and out of touch with reality! See how his kind operate?

Anyway, back to the recruits: DON'T COME HERE! no ifs, ands, or buts! If you think a contract is right around the corner, you are wrong. This place isn't that bad in my eyes, (but I'm out of touch with reality and have no credibility; what do I know?) but coming here now is not helping our cause. Bottom line, we aren't gonna get a cba until YOU stop applying! New hires here(even the existing ones), should be ostracized.

Not exactly true. This company only hired 16 that's right 16 total pilots in September, so the lack of pilots isn't forcing B&H to the table. They are playing a waiting game in the hopes that another regional fails in the next 6 months giving them a supply of desperate pilots. The fact they only hired 16 last month, and have only hired 9 so far in October hasn't made them any more willing to give us a CBA. I do get your point though. I was unable to swap every trip I wanted to this month to adjust my line because of lack of reserves every single day. This place is very understaffed, and like all else B&H do not care. The new crew support group that is part of this BS culture change is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine.

Default Chautauqua

Is it true Chautauqua is going to merge with Republic and retire the Q400? Does that mean that the Republic side will be flying for all 3 majors (DL/UAL/AA)?

Chq is morphing into shuttle. Yes q's are history; starting in spring 2015 thru fall 2016....good riddance.

No. You're mixing up several different things.

First. The Chatauqua certificate is being retired. All Chatauqua 145's (Delta flying) is being rolled/merged/absorbed into the Shuttle America certificate. To be completed by the end of this year.

Second. The 50 aircraft award for United. As of now, they are being placed on the S5 certificate. Planes start arriving next summer. At the same time, the Q400's will be phased out as these aircraft arrive. So, in a nutshell, for now, the S5 certificate will grow with the addition of the 145's (which are only here for two more years) and the United175's and the Republic certificate will shrink with the parking of the Q's.

Clear as chocolate milk?

Now this is all subject to change with the strokes of several pens and is the source of much speculation, but that is the "plan" as of today.

That 16 needs to be zero. As far as staffing, there are OT *****s in sdf picking chit up. Tsk tsk. Ibt needs to implement OT ban.

Just look up the definition of "loon" and one needn't go any further.

Kudos to the NYC crews; I hear that they can't find anyone for OT up there(probably because hardly any live there, but still kudos). But sdf, they call HER and SHE'S there.....
