Yes, you do t meet ATP mins but you still interview and once you have the hours they call. This could be something specific to ATP inc pilots , I don't know.

Yes it primarily refers to the "pipeline/bridge" partnerships is my understanding although I'm sure there is some off the street guys in similar positions since these "LOA-letter of agreements" are just that AGGREEMENTS which are not much better than a handshake. So sure you can get an interview around 1000 hours or so and definitely be in that situation.

My guess would be its starting to happen quite a bit.

Well the only Gary they can be referring to is on the E board and was a very vocal yes vote on the last TA, which is probably why they think you are him.
I also believe that even though you are likely not him, you know EXACTLY who he is.
