Just look up the definition of "loon" and one needn't go any further.
My, you put a lot of thought into that

The fact they only hired 16 last month, and have only hired 9 so far in October hasn't made them any more willing to give us a CBA. I do get your point though. I was unable to swap every trip I wanted to this month to adjust my line because of lack of reserves every single day. This place is very understaffed, and like all else B&H do not care. The new crew support group that is part of this BS culture change is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine.

That's likely because you guys don't get paid as well as PSA.

To clarify - above post was for first, second, third year pay. That's about as far as most folks' line-of-sight anyway.

The IBT can't openly call for an OT ban as that would be violation of status quo. That would mean that the NMB could initiate penalties against the Local which wouldn't exactly help our negotiations.

How about as a group we start flying the book and doing only our jobs before calling for illegal work actions?

I've started calling out my CAs for dropping the brake early or handing paperwork out windows. After 2 events it's a call to Professional Standards.

Good for you Magnus. Wish there were more people on the same page here holding people accountable for cutting corners in this stage of contract negotiations. Fly the book guys. No more favors.

For captains it's generally 15-20/month.
