Help CRJ 200 test flight
Hi guys I need help, I'm now in KJAX, Jacksonville, FL, with a CRJ 200, we are from South America and we are here only to make a test flight with the plane and then take the plane to South America, for the company that I'm pilot,
I wonder if somebody could tell me the procedure to make a test flight with the ATC, I mean request a working area, or if somebody can advice me about any airport to make a ILS, or touch and go without pay nothing, anyway any advice, will be very nice for us!
Thanks!

File IFR flight plan kjax kjax picking a fix out west and enroute ask atc for some airspace. Shouldn't be a problem.

Call 1800WXBRIEF and file an IFR flight plan. Tell the briefer that you talk to that you wish to file from KJAX back to KJAX via any fix you want. In the notes you can tell them that this is a test flight and that you will be requesting a block of altitude for maneuvering. When you takeoff out of JAX the controller will ask you what ou want to do and all you have to do is tell him then abide by his restrictions.

I apologize, but it is hard to take this post seriously. Test pilots undergo a regimented training program equivalent to an advanced degree. What are the parameters of your test flight?? What specifically are you looking to test before taking delivery? The only reason why I am asking, is because this will dictate how the flight will be organized. If no briefing has been established between the captain and the first officer with the company, then I am at a loss.
This is entertaining....No pilot would ever post something like this on a forum.
My sincerest advice, if this is a true post....to go out to a warning area off the coast and call the TRACON in control of that area and tell them a day in advance of the test flight.
God speed.

When I reread his post, the "South America" part explains it all, in my opinion. Probably is for real..
