No one told me that but one thing I know for sure I would not have believed that if they told me.
No one knew about the lost decade that was coming.
If there is another lost 10 years here there will only be a couple thousand pilots left working at AA.

Sad sad sad.
From what I hear they are taking most people on their interview/flow .. Not a guaranteed flow but they are still flowing people.

I'm not doubting that. I just thought it was funny how quickly they thought there were going to be interviewing/"flowing".

I think "flow" is just the most convenient word to use when discussing it. While it may be a technically incorrect term it gets your point across. It is easier to say "I hope we flow soon" vs. "I hope I get to go to the special interview for PSA that happens in seniority order soon.

They can only flow if they fly "the 9" and even then only if they wear their epaulets backwards.

Envoy/Eagle has the best flow through to AA. That's a no-brainer. Good luck to all new hires with your regional selection. Upgrades are no longer necessary to get on with majors. Choose whoever gives you the best Flow through, Prefered Base, Hiring Bonus, Jet type rating (heavier the A/C the better), just to name a few.
