I just can't figure out how to list. When I do it on myidtravel it says not authorized. Works for domestic listings and I know we have the ability to do it, I just can't figure it out!

What about calling the US Airways Employee Travel line at 800-325-9999?

You can just say "No ID" and then "Another Airline ID", that may connect you with someone who can help. Have you tried calling them?

Maybe they could at least make the jumpseat listing for you so that you have a record locator to work with? I don't know if you could pay the taxes and any other fees using a credit card while on the same phone call. The other option would be that once you have created a record locator for the return trip, you should be able to pay the fees for the return flight at the ticket counter in the USA before departing on your outbound leg.

Other than the time constraints associated with last minute travel, I don't know why you'd want to list for the JS as an OAL pilot. Since you can't physically occupy the FDJ on an international flight, your priority for a seat in the cabin puts you below all the other non-revs by only having a JS listing. Your seating priority would be better off having a non-rev listing as US Express affiliate carrier, or even if you purchased the ZED ticket.

Yes, have tried calling the number. No way to get in touch with a human. Can't pay at the counter, have tried that in the past. Only way to do it is through myidtravel or wings. I was basing all this on the travel benefit guide from my airline saying it takes 5-7 days to process a ticket request. I guess I'll just try it through zed and see what happens. Worse comes to worse, I buy a last minute ticket like I did a few months ago and proceed to enjoy the jack and cokes for three hours!!!

Coming back into the US on Delta or United, always back yourself up with a zed in case the gate agents can't figure out how to list you. If you are successful getting listed as a jumpseater, you can always refund your zed later.

If you have access to wings, you should be able to make a listing within seconds and check in online as long as it's within 45 mins of departure. You can still make a listing right before departure time on wings, you just need the gate agent to check you in.

Get some time to get in touch with an agent that can help you looking for and maybe printing how the airlines deals with jumpseaters from other airlines. Back when I was an agent in an international station a pilot from a regional flew donw to our station and was trying to fly back, he had with him the regulations for the 4 mainlines that operated out of our station. Said which airlines allowed international JS and how to process them. Obviously you will need some good smiles and great attitude..and some people cant pull that off!
