Agreed, but the way they do the psych eval now is a joke. The fact that the former Delta psych guy committed suicide should show the flaw in that system. The military guys are busting the psych eval more than the civie guys. I would think the military has better ways to evaluate their pilots mental status than Delta does. My good friend busted the psych part way back in the day. He is retiring from a chief pilot position with a Fortune 500 company after a very successful career with no psychotic episodes.

It is what an interview should be. Tell us about yourself and we will teach you what we want you to know if we think you would be a good fit.

Oh yeah, no psych evaluation where God help you if you sit in the wrong chair.
Can I get an Amen!

By the way useless riddle thread ever. I'd go to SWA because I like their colors!

This statement is why the PSA community will never get any respect. What ever allows you to sleep at night. By the way, PSA's hiring standards are extremely low. They are hiring everyone.

I think some of you guys get way too worked up over a simple poll. It is interesting to see where others want to go. I would have thought that Delta would be way in front by more. But that is because I am at a DCI carrier in a Delta base. So my view is clearly skewed. (Didn’t think it was)

Wow, lotta regional pros on here. Who listens to these guys? Not me. Hawaiian would be nice but dang! They need to pay more first year, nobody can live in HI on those rates. Im guessing UAL is second and far ahead of AA because of the 'spress-jet fan club on here.

Punk-arse regional kids! There should be a support group for those who didn't get hired at Delta. 'Cause they ain't gonna hire everyone.

I choose AA as #1 simply for the seniority progression, no other reason. I would have chosen Delta last year though for the same reason.

Are you saying that Delta hiring for just one year has now made Delta an unattractive proposition based on seniority progression?

Nope, just that American edges them in seniority progression. Never said "unattractive".

If you look back at the careers of pilots who are on the first page of the big three's seniority lists, the only thing that mattered was seniority. They saw contracts that were all over the place, not to mention most started at completely different companies.
