ALPA guys, isn't this a blatant CBA violation. Understood that pre-employment payments are legit since the pilot is not a member of the CBA group yet, but how is ALPA reconciling large sums of cash being paid, after joining the group? I can understand SKYW flipping the middle finger at it's pilots, who don't have. CBA, but ALPA guys do have one.
Rationale?

They may pay it once, or even twice. It was just a carrot to try to stop the hemorrhaging of pilots to other airlines. Now that it has slowed and people are coming on board, there is no reason to keep paying it. It is not a contractural thing...they don't have to pay it.
