Retro pay? That's so retro. The gen y ers(millennials??) Whatever they are apparently have no clue what that term means. Most care nothing about even a signing bonus. We're lucky if we see a 5k signing bonus.
Plus, after the current nc update, I am no longer optimistIc about a TA. Sorry yayairplanes (and all those guys asking about RAH), hope you did not choose RAH....you will be in hell for a looooong time if you did. |
Insight at RAH/S5

Any new TA would be too late to make an appreciable difference in staffing during this summer (which will be a disaster). Unless the rev pulls something from way out of left field I think they've just about finished digging their grave in Indianapolis.

Is RAH/S5 supposed to be getting 175s for united? or a different carrier. Just curiosity...

50 new 175s for UA. Starting in July, I think.
Also heard a rumor that Delta has been hanging out in crew scheduling to see what's been going on firsthand for themselves. |

Yes delta management is very aware of staffing issues at 9e and s5.... They do watch it and alter flying based on it. Many Of the lower to middle delta management are previous pilots from these carriers that wuit and went to a nice office gig.

Seriously...........How in god's name do they expect to staff it? Yesterday Shuttle America had the highest number of canceled flights of any airline IN THE WORLD (according to FlightAware).

In addition to the 50 175s for united, didnt Delta extend 20 something 145 airplanes? I thought the RAH plan was to shrink the 145 operation to staff the 175s.
