Min days off. I've seen those bid packets. I'll keep enjoying my 17 days off.

Yes. So I figure I average 15 days off per month. They average 11. That's 4x12. 48 days additional they work per year for considerably less pay. Yeah, their contract is better.

We do have a very good contract. Seriously. I'm shocked anyone here would ever argue ours is better than yours though. While we have many of the same and in some instances better provisions, the AWAC current book is probably best in the industry. And yes, our schedules suck. Avg 12-13 days off per month, not 11. That's a result of a terrible planning dept and short staffing. Supposedly our PHL lines are MUCH better and more similar to our old LGA lines which avg'd 16 off per month

I want to add...what we at AWAC have and what is proposed is good for the good times AND the bad. I been thru both good times and bad in this business. These other airlines with real flows and imitation flows and pay caps and growth and what not have contracts designed for the good times. If bad times come, they will be screwed. Enjoy the good times and here's to hoping we all escape any bad times for the rest of our careers.
