You are ignorant. You don't know who I am or what I'm about, but concessions is not one of them. I have a family to feed and flying shiney jets for less pay is not the way to go about that. Just because you are ****ed at what is going on at your airline doesn't mean you can be an ass about it. Every regional airline has its faults. My response was a short way of pointing that out.

The list you spilled out angers me as well. Especially regarding the FDP. It is no excuse but other regionals are facing the exact problem (as the union pointed out) and whining on a forum is not going to change that. However, your list is full of exaggerations. If you have such a problem with eagle. Leave. I sure don't want to stay here forever especially when you have fellow pilots with your attitude.

Not that I don't disagree with going to a low-cost carrier. But how many times do you want to be at the bottom of the list. Do you really think the current hiring spree is going to continue. The world is not currently covered in rainbows. And the US economy is crap at best. The majors are positioned to weather a storm, obviously as crappy as the Regional's are, they will benefit from an economic downturn, which sucks, but legacy airline management obviously knows they can get more regional feed for $0.50 raises at the majors. Low cost carriers will shrink if the economy buckles anymore. So yes, if you are at a low cost carrier with decent quality of life, then it is better than a regional. But if your ambitions are to go past a low cost carrier and have good quality of life, then find the quickest upgrade right now and get to a major. This hiring spree will not last for that long.

If by "that long" you mean the next decade, you nailed it.

It is no excuse but other regionals are facing the exact problem (as the union pointed out) and whining on a forum is not going to change that( who should I complain to then , Alpa isn't helping, since others REGIONALS are having problems should I be OK with it. ALPA states we are individual unions but now because 1 sucks all should suck?)However, your list is full of exaggerations(I ONLY STATED FACTS). If you have such a problem with eagle. Leave(IN THE PROCESS, AS IS OUR HUGE Exodus OF PILOTS). I sure don't want to stay here forever especially when you have fellow pilots with your attitude(YOU SEEM TO HAVE A MANAGEMENT TYPE OF MIND. YOUR TAKE THE BEATING NOW, FOR HOPE OF FUTURE BENEFITS. THATS WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE REGIONALS).[/QUOTE

One sand buddy, and that hiring spree is gone. Keep telling yourself nothing can happen.

Frequent capitalization. Rant-y posts. You look familiar. When are revelations, again?

You make many good points Smutter. Maybe the grass is greener elseware, but I will work on my lawn. The current Dictator has created a lot of heart acke for the pilot group and its families. The flip side to that is, it is a paying flying job. A job that has been pretty good for me despite the turbidity. I will continue to try and further my career without laterals. I will try to make Eaglevoy better while I am here. Keep your head up. There are many positives about this place as well

Every time I commute on American, I am the last to get on, while an Envoy pilot is usually the first. Yes, I'd say you guys have many plusses, perhaps some you even take for granted. Sure, come on over to Mesa, and realize what you have lost.

Default Exactly what I've been trying to say...

3. We are losing 5, 700's for 2016( yet they brag we're not losing as many as thought!?!?!?!!)
4. Still losings emj's(not sure how many, hate that plane)
5. Refuse to fly more than the FAA flight duty regs, you will be punished, not questioned, punished.....
6. According to the fleet plan, we don't gain A/C for yrs to come.(never gain, always losing, only a promise of 175's) huge loss of hull.
7. PSA has a growth fleet plan(may not happen, but have it)
8.PDT, has a growth fleet plan(may not happen, but have it)
9. Company's interpretation of reserve rules are false.
10. PVD'S automatically denied, no longer reviewed, just denied, they post the numbers at the beginning of the month and for every aircraft and day they show 0.

If I was a new hire, I would choose air Wisconsin, Horizon, and then as much as I hate to say the ******* bag operations, I would choose Mesa, Piedmont, PSA. The last 3, as ****ty as they are, have way more to offer than envoy.

The worst two regional airlines are, republic, then envoy, in said order.
^What he said. I've been posting facts and data for all about how terrible it is here, but no-one wants to listen. I can only assume all the people that are willing to defend this company are a bunch of management trolls trying to combat and fight the overwhelmingly negative experience the majority of the pilot group has to deal with on a day to day basis. They fired at least 5 captains in the last month, and they're bringing the hammer down on anybody that's been here more than a couple of years. Management doesn't want anybody with longevity here. Because we are troublemakers they want a bunch of fresh-faced, naive, fly for free, non-family, limp-d!@#ed mediocre aviators to give them rim jobs at the drop of a hat for the greatness of AAG.
