The election is this week, correct? Hopefully the ASA pilots save themselves and encourage their reps to bring in some fresh, new blood. Otherwise, they will continue to get exactly what they deserve under the "leadership" of the current regime.

Lol since when did stating the truth become attacks. Admit it BF Tony raised his pay. you don't have the balls to admit it. Mnak...that blow hard lol he is the very reason there is no JCBA and o much flight pay loss abuse. I listened to him a rgt a few years ago all he did was state how we need to keep flightline and try to justif why 15 some pilots got 6 hours a day to sit n the office for years on end. He was the MEC chair worse x10. So you keep just sying they are personal agendas and attacks.....is questioning how much the ALPA chair makes an attack? I think its not in the unions best interest to hide behind the facts. If some jack wad is taking in 150k to -200k the pilots need to and will know about it.

It looks like apathy has quickly returned after the ASA pilots rose up and forced the MEC to send out the extension. If you're one of the select senior few, the instructors now completely running the MEC will continue to protect you. Everyone else - more of the same....

Wow! That even exceeded my expectations for idiocy. Yes let's put the biggest child in that office in the #2 position. I think everyone knew they would circle the wagons and consolidate power but this is amazing. Two more years of zero accountability. I hope I'm not here to see it.

Holy crap I'm glad I left this defunct place. What a "union". The ASA union has been feckless and impotent since 2005. Too many self-interests and "we don't need any more union volunteers" attitudes in that group. Good luck fighting each other into oblivion, fellas. Really. Best of luck. Yikes.

Reminds me of the mafioso.... Eliminate any opponent, and build your empire with "yes" men. SR has been a good Vice Chairman and a strong advocate for the ASA pilots. He was solely responsible for uncovering overcharged health insurance premiums and working with the company to ensure that the pilots received their money back. Sad day.

I am not a part of union leadership, just a regular line pilot. I don't know Tony personally beyond interaction at ALPA functions, but I have nothing against against him either. The one thing I can say about him from PERSONAL experience is that what he said prior to the extension and what accurately happened were very much in line with one another. I don't know if he's a good MEC chair or not, but my personal interaction shows him to be a pilot who actually cares about the pilot group and has a realistic outlook on what we can expect as a subcontractor. Just my personal opinion based on my experience. I've been wrong before, might be wrong again.
