Where would I expect to be based with Endeavor? I know they have JFK and LGA, which I would be cool with. But I'm not sure about Minneapolis and Detroit. Then again, I've never been there

Some of their current folks could speak to it better than I could, but I am pretty sure you can almost get any domicile you want either immediately or shortly after training.

In terms of DTW, it's not a bad place, if you stay away from the bad parts of DTW. Contrary to what people say, there are nice areas in and around the city.

I would look at every airline and write down the pro's and cons. Talk with your family and assess what is most important to you. That being said I'm at piedmont right now and I can say it's a good place to be. We are growing and there is a lot of movement. If you want to be at a major than this is a good place to be. We supposedly have the fastest flow in the American system right now. We also have a fast upgrade. Things that suck is that you would likely have to move.
I have a lot of friends at endevour and they seem really happy. Being from Michigan it's a nice place to live and very affordable. Commutair might also be worth checking out. They have an Ewr base which is sort of New York. Hope this helps. Good luck

I'm hoping that my personal circumstances won't influence much of my career. My wife is pretty awesome when it comes to that. Will I have a pretty good chance with how the industry is going now? However, Spirit wouldn't be too bad because we have always wanted to live in Florida. How hard is it to get MCO?
First off your need to get the regional job before you can consider Spirit. Now if you want to live in MCO, one option is Silver Airways flying the Saab340 with a upgrade time of just a little under 2 yearish. If you have your heart set on a jet well then Republic in MIA is possible but not likely starting with them but maybe 6 months down the road or so a friend told me.

Also, how hard is it to commute? I just learned about passrider.com and I'm working my way through the site but it looks like a pretty consistent and abundant schedule of flights leaving SHV. I used JFK as an example and there are 100 flights all averaging 6-7 hours getting up there. That doesn't seem too bad, in my inexperienced opinion. What do y'all think?
