I have to admit I'm a news junkie and everything i'm saying is based of what the press has ran ect. There could be more behind the scenes. however my main point is Skywest isn't the redheaded stepchild to spit on. It's a good company with happy employees for the most part. The guys I've talked to that went there really enjoy it. That says enough.
Yes, Comair is making money . . . read the court transcripts.

That is why my vote is NO.

Oh and BTW, the media is never wrong.

When people have an attitude like Slaphappy it has the unfortunate result of personifying the whole airline. I'm sure not everyone at Skywest thinks like him.

That and the fact that DAL loves the way SKW Airlines does business. I hate to say that, but it is a harsh reality. Cheap and professional. Those are words out of a DAL execs mouth that deals with them on a daily basis.

My knowledge wasn't first hand but the flight attendent I was talking too said that at that point in time the company was telling the employees they needed to shave 70mil and they fought the cuts because the cut on the FA's would have pushed them to the poverty level so the judge sided with them.

He didn't say anything wrong. Use google or wikipedia. The comair guys had plenty of bad press and completion percentage prior to Delta giving their flying away. I can't find their old contracts. But their current one is in line with the rest of the better guys.

Not sure what bad press has to do with anything. Besides customers don't purchase tickets on Comair, Skywest, Mesa, etc., they purchase a Delta ticket.

Delta DID NOT GIVE COMAIR'S AIRCRAFT AWAY . . . yet. I can't believe people are still saying this.

I know I've always found flight attendants to be the most accurate and reliable source of information in the airline world

If you hear the same rumor from 1 CSA, 1 F/A, 1 ramper and a pilot, you KNOW its true!

True, but this wasn't about rumors it was what she said happened. She was there so its credible.

And bad publicity doesn't do anything? What are you smoking? I don't fly Delta for that exact reason, nor Gojets or mesa. Delta didn't get my bag there one to many times I'll never take them again. Don't Expect Luggage To Arrive didn't come out there for nothin. If they didn't give it to someone else then what did they do?
