I've searched the word "logbook," in the search bar and the most recent thread about it looked to be in 2013.
Just wanted to see what everyone thinks is the best - and cheapest - eLogbook to use for their career and why.
I'm currently instructing and would like to have my paper logbook as well as a print out of an electronic one in a leather binder.

Doesn't matter what you use, as long as you keep it up to date. More pilots have been hired to majors with paper than electronic, I'd wager.
And with the way folks spell and their usage of grammar, I'd also bet that would be more of a interview detractor than any form of logbook used today.

Search my post history. Fairly sure I started a thread on this or at least replied to one a few months back as I was also looking to switch. Fast forward to now...LogTen pro...got it. Love it. Very user friendly and intuitive. Phenomenal support staff. Cons: yearly fee(unless you have a MacBook)

After reading all this, I picked up mccpilotlog. I kept a foreflight logbook and the only downside is that they didn't convert foreflight so i had to add all my flights manually (i would've just done experience, but im sure the regionals would like to see it all)
Of course I'll have my paper logs for the endorsements and signatures from my checkrides/etc, but I feel that a printed log will be a bit more professional. mccpilotlog is good so far, I probably won't buy the package until I hit the regionals though

What I don't like is that some features are cloud based as well, such as currency. If I want to check it I have to be online to do it. Overall I think that benefits outweighs the negatives.
