Back in the day supercomputer=a computer that could do one billion operations per second. The definition has not changed however personal PC's have been hitting that mark since Apple's G4 processor. Do you consider your laptop a super computer? Or the simulator NASA runs that cost billions of dollars?
A major carrier might be by definition 1billion. However if SKW is a major carrier then why aren't they allowed to fly a 757? Why are they stuck flying REGIONAL jets?

That's their option. They aren't limited to them by scope clauses. When SKW and XJT are allowed 100% free range to fly any aircraft they want however/wherever/whenever they want, when they are afforded the same luxuries as the majors.. Then I'll consider them a major. Until then they are regionals.

Last I check they did have free range to fly any aircraft they want, this is the USA afterall - and financially SkyW could..It would just be a big risk to do such a thing..Why fix what isn't broken...The minute Delta or United say SkyW we don't need you anymore do you think they just disapear? No...They'll be knocking on Boeings door with an order.
