Remeber AA W/O F/O's with 750TT go to Captain payscale (the new rate at cpt yr 2 is 150.00/hr). AA W/O Yr 3 Cpt Pay Scale without the extra money is 107.50/hr. Republic Year 3 Cpt Scale is 96 (so still a 11.50/hr pay increase). The starting F/O pay scale would revert to 64.00/hr, RPA starting pay is currently 46 (so a 18.00/hr pay increase).

They also get their $187,000.00 in bonuses (compared to YX 11,000.00) and commuter hotels (which YX offers no commuter benefits). They also get fully paid training, unlike YX’s 1000.00 pay for month 1. But YX has no junior manning. YX has but doesn't implement/use airport ready reserve.

There is NO REASON (except for living in base) to even work at Republic right now. Hopefully for the pilot group, YX Mgmt comes to the table with the check book, or the new hire classes are going to get smaller and with 100-200 leaving per month for LCC/ULCC/Mainline your monthly lines are going to be built at 90+ hrs per month and you'll be down to 13-ish days off per month.

Good Luck!
Why should the company offer commuter hotels? Doesn't BB preach you choose to commute in the gospel of Heller?

I can only hope that every other regional matches the pay or incentives the mainline partners to absorb the regionals. This was a last ditch effort, a Hail Mary of sorts to try and save the regional model. Only time will tell what happens to the regional model in 2-3 years.

It is frustrating to see everyone have some sort of TA come out, but those that actually work here know what’s going. I’m staying patient, flying my line, and waiting for a TA. I will either enjoy the new contract or watch the next generation of RPA pilots enjoy it. Either way, the union is aware of the situation and working towards a solution.
You know BB isn't going to bargain in good faith until there's no longer meat in the seats. Once new hire classes are empty we'll get a TA and I hope you vote no on the first couple offers like we had to do back in the day

I’d like to think it’s different this time. Not because management is different, but because times are different. Then again, I’m an optimist so I guess we’ll see what the TA looks like.

Once newhire classes are empty they'll give us a TA and it will probably be too late by then

Good news is AA W/O would be smart to not hire a single pilot from YX or OO or Mesa, since those pilots already fly for American Eagle. Those who jump ship will come from Endeavor, Go Jet, CommutAir, Air Wisconsin etc..

Wouldn’t that be pretty difficult, since they have LIFT to fill seats with the contract most sign?

This maybe the end of the non wholly owned companies out there like rpa. Rjet may want to look at holding off on that new training center….

They're struggling to get the LIFT space cadets to 1500 hours. Not everyone can be a CFI and build up the hours. They had invested some money in Cape Air to send the space cadets over there and once they got their time they're supposed to return and go from space cadet to Cape Air hero to RJET FO. But why would you come back to RJET? It's my understanding the Cape Air pilots get to go to Spirit?

The same Heller that now is running a tiny company called Sterling trying to run SAAB2000's in Alaska and a few E145's out of FL?

Yeah, he sure went far.

I believe that name is associated with someone but the name of Roland Pinto, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to touch that with a 10 foot pole
