DEC CMH Base
#21
Probably, but I just need some more TPIC to be competitive where I want to go. Plus, I'm within driving distance from CMH. I just wasn't sure if you all had long-call reserve or not; however, I'm sure if it's like when I was with the regionals, LCR went fairly senior. But yes, I would think a DEC would forever be on reserve until he/she gets to their destination airline.

Seniority means nothing on reserve at Republic unlike most other airlines. You can only proffer to fly first not fly last and the bucket system make sure the reserves are used and abused however scheduling sees fit. Obviously the FO side is different at the moment since we have hundreds of FOs sitting around not flying

I spent a lot of my reserve time at EWR and live about an hour away, it was awesome! (although we were used a lot more back then)

I'm an FO but my impression is that all captains are being used quite a bit. It's newer FOs who are sitting. Nearly all of my trips end up with a different CA than originally scheduled for some reason or other. Last market podcast had CMH as 3-4 years to hold a line as a CA. (Only 5 months for an FO)
