Everybody has to do what they are most comfortable with, but, there are a lot of ways to skin this cat....

For most new guys just getting started, it’s just not the most efficient method.

Who does it make sense for at Republic right now? With reserve times encroaching on the 1+ year mark, very few people new to the airline are building time quickly. How can anyone say it’s most efficient for the bulk of those people to stick around until they can upgrade?

Okay, I’ll ask directly:

There are a lot of reasons it could be a good choice for someone. Is it for everyone, NOPE.
Not to mention, the CA/FO ratio is normalizing again, as this is happening, there is more and more flying for the FO's. The available reserves in my base was down to 3 when I checked while attempting to drop something last week.
It's the lack of CAs is what has been holding YX back from taking on more flying.

70% failure is 100% training. And I’m guess some of y’all are in it and don’t want to take accountability. The common denominator is training not the 1k hr in type fo.training is trash. And the new hires are saying it too. “Must be all the pilots, can’t be the training” How come Other airlines arnt this low?….exactly.
