Slightly off topic here, but based on my understanding of AQP, no failure, expect for the LOE, goes on your pilot record (PRD). In other words, in any validation, if you fail you will receive remedial training once, then if you fail again, you get asked to resign and it goes on your record. But for the first failure, it is unreported? Is this true?

Also I heard that on the LOE, if it's something minor, they might run the sim back a few minutes to give you a second chance. For example, you got overloaded on approach and missed your FAF or something.

If you mess something up, you are allowed to repeat what you missed. However, you are required to repeat the entire "segment" in which it is included. Let's say you bust thru your level off altitude for cruise or set the incorrect altitude. They will take you back to the beginning of the climb to start over (or whatever segment it was) which could be 10-15 minutes back. You are only allotted so much time from start to finish, which I believe is 2.5 hours. If you must repeat something, but then are ultimately unable to complete LOE in its entirety, due to time constraints, you fail. If it takes you 45 minutes to get off the gate, you are starting off behind the curve.
Hope that makes sense.

Info from my experience 2022 Indoc. They give you access to a practice test on your ipad. It's multiple choice, every time you take the practice test the questions will change a bit. Take the practice test 3-4 times if you're passing you're fine.
There is a gouge packet floating around that is really good. One of the instructors actually gave it to us. Good for the oral exam too.
They give you a giant workbook of systems questions. Go through all of those too.
Another resource people used to study is Quizlet. Just about all of the systems test questions are on there verbatim. Just be cautious what resource you are using.
This forum isn't the best place for gouge. The best place is the class before you, or your buddies in indoc that know people. Socialize and ask who has the gouge. If you're not part of the WhatsApp group, join it. If there isn't one, make one.
Best of luck.

systems test. basically all the answers in the back of each system section in your manual. before the systems test, in Sumtotal app, there will be a practice systems test you can take. take it again and again till you're consistently getting 90 somethings (it's multiple choice)
