You know what's legit? How about giving us all a sense of how the Captain and FO halfway up their respective seat lists do. That would be a lot more interesting, and I'd hazard a guess that it would be something less than 18 days off and 90-100 hours of credit. But I could be wrong... maybe 18days/100hrs is standard stuff at PSA...

There are a few regionals where that median guy/girl (left seat at least) would be fairly ok - could actually, I don't know, save a few dollars for retirement, pay for a car and mortgage, help a kid through college, eat out occasionally - you know... standard middle class stuff. How's PSA slot in there? Killing it I'd bet!
I think you need to do more research before you make a condescending post based on assumptions in which you have gotten completely incorrect.

My statement is 100% a sense of what any lineholder at PSA makes on a regular basis.

In fact 100 hours may even be on the low side. How about 14 days off with 130 hours?

Don't believe me? Do what you want but it is true whether you like it or not.

They're going to come after your sap at psa. Probably giving up that and forcing pbs on you in exchange for a flow. That'll be coming next year I'm betting

Bingo. Something that PDT/ PSA seems to forget while they deflect from the fact that they caved.

Yup. The Toonsters have them locked into their crappy little contract in perpetuity. Hows that JetBlue or better thing working out?

You just can't let it go!

Did your wife leave you for an RAH guy or something?

First, having any level of pride in what a regional pilot makes is a losing battle. Every single one needs to make improvements by leaps and bounds as it's turning into a career for many and pay doesn't match responsibility, accountability or what an F-28 paid a few decades ago for the same number of seats.

Second, consider me skeptical that what you've quoted is typical and consistent for a mid-level pilot. If I'm wrong, I'm surprised to say the least.

I wasn't bragging. To say that regionals are underpaid is an understatement at best.

Again, be skeptical all you want. What I posted is what is expected of any pilot not on reserve. I'm not sugar coating, or exaggerating, nor do I have reason to.

PSA= 18 days off 100hrs and still working until your dead because there is no retirement and 100hrs goes about as far as working 100hrs fielding clothes at the gap. You can get 18 days off and 100hrs at the gap too. Wow that sounds awesome!

Gentlemen, this highlights in the importance of the whipsaw. RAH mgmt did an abhorrent job on the Q, and in return they get an to try again with 175s.

As much as I dispise the paycut pukes, I now think all regional pilot groups should seek cuts while prepping their resumes to move on.
