Shame on him for actually having a good attitude; with your username, i trust you are jaded.
well of course you disagree Loon, and you're tripping over yourself to support thinking like MrERJ because it perpetuates your cushy lifer seat at Republic that is largely subsidized by FOs making little pay. Who are you kidding. Yes voter to anything and everything I would bet, just so long as you arent forced to move on if the company goes tits up. Oh and the pilots will come if first year pay is $40/hr? Really, from where? Other regionals? I doubt as many FOs as you think would give up seniority and longevity to start over at a place like this. Why would they? To be subjected to this management team while they wait 7 years to upgrade because lifers like you wont move on?

That goes for the same with everybody on the corporate side too. For as many pilots as we have, if I send an email to payroll, crew scheduling, etc. it is usually answered within a few hours. If you call they don't ever get ****ed off or agitated no matter how stupid the question might sound. The EFBs are nice and all the training facilities and instructors were superb.

And from every pilot Ive talked to since the LBFO rolled out, they've said they're going to vote yes if it goes to vote.
Classic example of someone who took an extra helping of kool aid while in ground school when they kept telling you how great a company you work for.

It's very rare for a mgmt troll to show themselves so early but kudos to you.

And that is the dirty reality about Republic. Don't forget the CEO sending letters to pilots telling them to cut back on coffee and cable to save money..

And my personal favorite...the Grand Daddy of them all: The Republic CEO using his son as an example of "obedience" and how all pilots should be more like him and just obey. I'm not kidding.

Management tools like MrERJ, Loon, and Turbine Time can live in their fantasy world. The reality is that Republic has spiraled out of control thanks to none other than Bryan Bedford. NOTHING will pull it out of the dive and the future is bleak.

This contract offer is simply offering Republic pilots a little of what every other Regional pilot has had for years. And they are supposed to be happy about it? Oh, and here...let me raise your medical costs through the roof while we are at it and offset that first year pay completely. Anyone who falls for these cheap parlor tricks deserves to ride the Republic disaster all the way into the ground.

What was really funny was the day they cut off my health benefits after being out on workers compensation leave after 90 days. Only airline I have ever worked at that cuts you off and forces you to COBRA while on medical/workers compensation leave. Not even a greedy bastard like Hulas does that kind of stuff.

The real gut punch was this happened right after The Reverend sent out his Easter Homily on how we should all look out for each other and take care of your fellow man......

LOL......what a jerk....

When you all are ready to vote.... just think of this!

Bryan Bedford's house in Carmel, IN (Google Maps) - Virtual Globetrotting

2.6 Million with 10 bathrooms. But yeah cut your cable and don't drink so much coffee. These guys are way overvalued.

How are pay raises, rigs, and min day parlor tricks? You work for envoy correct? Flow is the biggest parlor trick of all time. Flow can go away, money goes in your bank. If people are willing to throw themselves at the bottom of an 8+ year upgrade, and endless reserve for "flow", they will absolutely come to RAH for the thing that really matters. Cash in their pocket.

Your information about HK is incorrect or outdated. If you are out on medical or worker's comp they will immediately look for some reason to terminate you. One gal they looked at her facebook which had a pic of her wearing the captain's hat while sitting in the cockpit. They said she was flying the plane and fired her (a flight attendant). They didn't fire the captain who would have had to have let her fly if it was true. If they don't find a reason then after 6 weeks they just fire you anyway. The first indication that they are going to fire you is when your medical coverage is taken away and the prescriptions can't be filled.
