Only 11 145s left flying, Qs already off property, and roughly 20 170s leaving, most of which have been parked for some time already. Still adding 24 E175s for United and deltas bankruptcy deal includes an undisclosed number if additional aircraft. As of this monent, RAH is looking at a net gain of aircraft. A solid number of upgrades are rolling out every month. Over 40 last month alone. Forget shrinking and furloughs, I believe bedford is unrealistically optimistic on the amount of flying he can staff going forward. RAH is going to be committed to more aircraft than can be staffed upon exiting bankruptcy.

Considering all but about 15 aircraft are already sitting idle, and we're still understaffed for what we're currently flying, Id say he's pretty spot on.
Vacancy out today has another 20+ captain vacancies, which makes for almost 100 upgrades in the last three months. Add to that the massive captain attrition, and the upgrades should continue indefinitely. Again, no gold plated rainbows here, but it could be much worse.

This. Upgrades now <4 years which IS an improvement in spite of what the under informed would have you believe.

They'll upgrade your then have you sit in the right seat to cover a shortage of FOs. They did this on the Q400 a ton. They'll gladly pay you the captain rate to be able to abuse you more.

Yes. DTW flying is being reduced, and shifted to LGA to cover another regional there.
"...we’ll be working with Delta’s network to back up some key routes that others are struggling with. Particularly, we’ll see an increase in flying in Atlanta and LaGuardia. Our growth in LGA is specifically to fill a void left by one of our competitors whose performance and capability has significantly reduced. This increase in LGA will see a corresponding decrease in DTW flying.*"

No.
There is so much rampant speculation here, especially from those who don't even work for RAH. It seems to be speculation in hopes of the demise of RAH. Pretty sad really. Like others have said, most of those birds were idle already. We have tons of people in the training pipeline, just waiting around to get through. I HIGHLY doubt there will be any downgrades or furloughs. I actually think upgrades will still be coming.
