I’m not an expert on the nuances of radar operations, but I would imagine every airplane, during the takeoff phase, would eventually “show up” on the screen at some point...

I can’t attach a pic right now (ipad doing strange things today on multiple sites) but fragments of what appears to be an SA-15 were allegedly found in a Tehran neighborhood near the crash.
It appears to be the forward fins to me. And, I know Surface to Air missile systems.
Will post later if I can get the functions to work.

Is it safe to say that Iran really SHOT themselves in the foot?
Or..... collusion with trump and Khamenei to off the leader of the coup-to-be gone wrong? (Therefore the Iranian missile strike without a single casualty)

On a serious note, if there is nothing nefarious going on, why are the Iranians refusing access to the FDR- which they apparently have recovered?
