Pure uninformed speculation: probably uncommanded nosewheel swerving. To my knowledge they never confidently determined what was causing that. Maybe right main l/g collapse, never seen a main l/g bent outwards like that.
I'm gonna choose to focus on the fact that, once again, the mighty 145 crashes without hurting/killing anyone. Get em slimbraer.

A NWS uncommanded swerve is a possibility, but the skids from all for mains seem to possibly point in a different area.
There were several incidents with Expressjet and Republic where there were three skid patterns at different points after touchdown where the nose gear had intermittent side loading.
Just spit balling here and saying there are other possibilities as to the potential cause.
Just glad everyone is OK and hope the crew is found not to be at fault.

The mains were shredded all the way to the wheel hub from the skidding. The wheels appear to have been locked up as the tires are only shredded in one spot and the rest of the tire has full tread. Find a high resolution picture of the mains and you can see.
