I’m with you but it’s going to end up falling back on the airline. There’s no legal obligation for anyone to listen to the safety brief and they don’t. Until an enforceable acknowledgment by every pax is obtained, they can just claim they missed that part of the brief.
So then it goes back on the airline for not taking whatever measures are necessary to ensure the rules are complied with. It’s not hard. Make purchase of a ticket contingent on reviewing the safety brief in any number of formats and confirming receipt of the related information. The fact that we (collectively) wait to provide the necessary info to successfully evac until about 15 minutes prior to possibly needing it is kind of silly anyway.
I get it’s all about legal hoops to jump thru and everyone with any common sense probably knows what to do but if you’ve seen some of the YouTube videos of the idiots who fly any assumption of common sense is likely wrong.
