Hmmmm......at ~300', I'm sure they would have heard some barking from the aircraft well before that. How do you know they "forgot" to put their gear down?

Sometimes people tune out that gear horn if they're busy, common enough phenomenon. Eventually the TCAS would develop a sense of urgency. But a 777 has some momentum...if it looked like they went around at 300' they probably hit the TOGA a bit higher up.
