Apc is the 1 percenters of Frontier. Hardly a representation of our pilot group. This is the same place that said the contract would never pass!! Well it did by a wide margin. Just relax sit back and enjoy the 1 percent sh*t show. 😂

I’m saying we at UAL as a whole were apathetic. I’m not saying you are with such little info. It was a reminder for all.

I can appreciate your great attitude. Seriously. Your perspective is fresh and uplifing.

However, I must mention that it isn't the most "accurate" or helpful perspective. By comparison, your job as a F9 pilot is probably top 10% when compared to ALL jobs. As we all know, there are some pretty crappy jobs out there. But, if you were to compare an F9 pilot job to that of OTHER PILOT JOBS in the US, that percentage falls. There are now regional jobs that pay close to or maybe just as much as our FOs, have the same or better hotels and work rules that are equivalent. Of course, it's all a matter of perspective.

F9 has pretty good (not great but certainly not horrible) schedule flexibility. The reserve rules are OK. The routes are OK, Some of the pairings are great - others, notso. The hotels are above average (they weren't always) and improving. I mean, there are some REALLY NICE things about working as a pilot here. There were many pilots here who compared the existing contract w/ the previous one - and were happy with the gains. There were others that compared the previous contract w/ the EXISTING contracts of other airlines and weren't so happy. Again, perspective.

However, this company will NEVER be industry leading in pay, on time performance, customer service/complaints and many other areas. Barry himself mentioned that if he ever did lead in those categories, that there would be $ left on the table to be made. So, about the only thing we will ever be #1 in - wrt the customers - is the hot chocolate (overheard someone the other day praising it so I tried it myself). This company is certainly more concerned about making money that it is providing a quality product as an airline. So, our focus will always be best in CASM, fuel efficiency, youngest (least problematic) fleet and many other areas that are all great for the company/investors but don't really affect you other than job security.

I'm not posting this to discourage you because I do feel every thread does need balance and you do provide what seems to be the contrary view, but I will say that it is appreciated and necessary. Just keep it 100 about where you work...

Ha…so we have hot chocolate? And its good? Go figure!!

I have been having a love hate relationship with Frontier lately. When there is no weather, no mechanical issues or ridiculous MELs to deal with…it truly can be the best job in the world. I really enjoy the flying, the airplane and the crews. I work 10 to 12 days a month. It’s great. However, throw some complications into the mix and this place falls apart. I’ve been embarrassed a few times lately by this company. They almost seem like they purposely want to **** people (both passengers and employees) off sometimes. This whole LFDR 2.0 thing is such a load of crap. But hey…at least now we can all travel on standby all we want for $599 a year!! There you go…more negativity…
I do think the quality of live here once you have some seniority is hard to beat.

It definitely is a matter of perspective...
There are approximately 140 named airlines in the US between the majors, regionals, cargo, charter, air ambulance, and that does not include ANY OTHER PILOT JOBS. By your bold statement, that means you feel there are at least 14 or more of those airline company's PILOT JOBS that you would do or recommend others to do, not including the 1,000s of other PILOT JOBS, before coming to F9?? Id say slight exaggeration.

Another matter of perspective, but regionals with work rules equivalent to here? Come on man, how long has it been since you have worked under those regional rules? Do we have some cleaning to do for the next contract, absolutely, just like all majors are fighting for right now, but I am truly curious if you are implying that regional work rules are on par with ours? If you really are implying that, the good news is there is quite a few of them that need CAs and are willing to give industry 1 for 1 credit and significant bonuses to head that way. Win win if you believe it. No loss in seniority and you can have the same or better hotels, work rules and just as much or more pay (your words, and not my thoughts or feelings for sure).

Great advise, and I hope all realize no matter how ruff management is right now, it is still far better here at F9 than any regional. My opinion, coming from one of the bigger regionals and still watching them come apart.

More enzymes for the "cesspool". You all have to remember - Frontier Airlines is the entity that came up with all this sh*t we are posting about. We didn't invent it. Be sure to watch the video and then imagine what we might start seeing over the holiday period. They came up with this doozy of a policy just in time to create tons of these videos with the backdrop of the holidays to punctuate them.

I guess the "Build the Brand" dept. is on one floor of the Emerald Palace, and the "Steal from the Customer" dept. is on another.

There's a whole sub Reddit about perfect fitting things. That should be posted there. Our gate agents are going off the rails. I'm sure this is better than 1000 pilot reports however.
