Aside from that, this is a primary place for getting a sense of each airlines pilot groups temperature and nearly the only place to get a sense of each airlines pilot group's personal feelings/struggles/satisfaction with their company, from outside. To suggest that what we read here is BS, and everything at F9 is amazing is beyond credibility. I see what gets posted here with respect to my own company, and I know good and well how much is true, untrue, and exaggerated for dramatic affect. While these forums can be more negative than reality, nearly 100% of the time if many dudes are complaining about the same issues, they ARE real issues.

Beyond that I could not possibly care any less what you think of me or my posts here. I'll leave when I'm good and ready.

This forum is a cesspool of negativity. Most people I fly with are really happy and enjoy it here. But the general consensus is that management sucks (Like every airline out there). If I listened to these forums I wouldn't have come here and I wouldn't be as happy as I am right now.

To get back on track. I’ll guess thier waiting to actually get thier hands on some bonus contract documents. I’m not sure much can be done if the monies are paid before day one of employment?

Thats how it was explained to me when I called in. Obviously they didn’t say to circumvent contract/union, but it was essentially along the lines of “the only way we can offer this is as a pre-employment bonus.”

Makes sense otherwise it’s exceeding 98.5% of year 2.

It's just like the regionls have been doing for a decade. I explained this numerous pages back.

If the union could stop it, they would have. Just as all the regional unions would have.

This will go over about as well as everything else I say on here: At the end of the day, Barry signs the paychecks. They are running the business, not us. We are just a labor group. What we have in the fight is a CBA. And we should fight like hell to get the best one we can and work with the union to enforce it, but beyond that Barry and the boys are steering the ship. Not particularly well, I'll admit. But, I'm going to outlast them by a long time. Already been thru a management team switch and I'll be here (with my seniority number) for multiple more management teams.

I worked as an engineer 25 years, including director positions, before making the commitment to switch to flying for a living. And I gotta say, I never worked someplace where everyone argued how they have a better reason why the company sucks. I, personally, am looking forward to a roomy cockpit, side sticks seems kinda cool, and a PHX base.

find something to be grateful for and stop creating uncertainty for new people trying to make a career at F9.

Buddy ^ looking forward flying with you. We have an issue with first year FOs leaving but the fast majority is happy. We need to fight for and will get better but there is a reason the only place where people come to make some noise is APC without voting with their feet. We have our issues but with 30 years left and home 27 days this month doing mostly turns by choice while getting paid a lot of money I am happy. Do we need to get better? You bet and we will

Glad you made the decision to come here and welcome to the team. I hope it works out as well for you as it has for me and hope you can hold PHX right out of the gate.

Tell me you don't understand accounting without saying you don't understand accounting.

The revenue is booked at the same time as the liability for the flights. This only translates to a profit or loss once the segments have been flown.
