I've been telling people all you need to do is look at the numbers. Number of furlough returns, pilot block hour utilization, and ASM growth at the mainline. Instead everyone wants to get hung up on the actual new hires in class number. Mgmt has done exactly what they telegraphed in late 2016, and late 2017.
If delta has any hiccup getting those c series online, I'm guessing it's going to get worse before it gets better for the bottom 5% there. Look at how much seniority list expansion has happened there since 2014. Foolish to believe that music would keep playing forever. They are now dependent on retirements for the progression. As long as Kirby follows through (and i believe he will because the bottom line, net eps, needs scale to improve...Oh, and he needs to prove his worth so he can take over for Oscar), I think we have 2-3k organic list growth ahead of us.
