The timeline of the last three posts made me laugh. A little angry drinking?

I would bet they would love to hire you with the great attitude you seem to have

I’m just telling the truth. Facts are facts. The DGI program is all jacked up. Endeavor is a solid company....however communication and politics have always been in the way. It goes way way way back. Flow to 1/4 of the pilot group....SSP....ETD/STD/DGI/REPEAT/SSP2.0.
When JB passes their TA and all the other LCC’s fine tune themselves the attrition will cause daddy to wake up! Let it begin

You posted 3 seperate times over an hour without anyone else posting in between. It struck me as an agitated individual obsessing over getting all the “facts” out there for the uneducated masses. I think a prediction about the success rate of an interview program that hasn’t begun yet is far from a “fact.”

Dont worry about my sleep habits, I’ll manage those. I’ve got that figured out since I’m years removed from “newb” status...

He sounds like a joy to fly with, but maybe he's just recruiting for a different airline.

Perhaps, or perhaps he was burned once too many and finally got out of the fire. Some of the old timers here are just shriveled, bitter, old F's that should have already retired; but some have cautionary stories that the young ones should take heed of to not repeat the failures of the past.

Sometimes I'm like,

"hey maybe I'll jump back on APC... Just see what's new"

(5 minutes later)

"Well that's enough of that"

Politics may have been or are at play, but the two biggest factors in Delta not committing to a flow are: 1) Delta HR didn’t hire you into EDV, nor do they have a hand in EDV’s hiring processes. There is a kingdom to protect for them, ie. too many corporate presentations on how scientific their selection process is and how it guarantees only the best pilots. If free (to Delta) interview screening by a wholly owned regional were good enough, then a lot of money could be saved by axing a time consuming and expensive in house hiring process. 2) Early success rates at the interview by SSP participants were not good. The company was partially at fault because they communicated a low bar of expectations (handshake and smile will be enough), but the ultimate responsibility goes to the interview PICs that didn’t make a good name for 9E at the interview. There were outright no shows for interviews. Very few hires on the 6 month retry (Delta’s overall success rate for 6 month retry is pretty high. They don’t invite you to come back if they don’t want to hire you and think you’ll make a better showing).

Oh, and those reasons don’t even address the presumed idea that “Delta needs to secure a flow of pilots from 9E (or insert another DC here). Even if they hired 100% of 9E pilots on the roster today, and did it within the next 4 years so as to include everyone on property, it would account for less than half of the total they need to bring on property during the same period. Delta has over 50,000 qualifying applications on file (those that are still active with updates within the last year). That puts them in the driver’s seat to continue to pick up plenty of qualified pilots without committing to a flow with 9E or anyone else.
