Looks like they bypass the need for the CPP interview. Interview with United in college, go work for the United Express carrier, then no further interview “flow” to UA. We can only hope this creates some pressure to enhance the CPP program... seems like almost all of the CPP carriers could use some help with recruitment and instituting something more like flow which the college kids will have will eventually help us at 9E...
The college “kids” won’t have a flow. They will have to attain and pass everything a current Delta CJO-holder has to get. It will arguably more challenging for them considering how inexperienced they will be when attempting the interview.
As I’ve said in the Propel thread, I suggest waiting for all the details to come out before passing judgement.

Anything’s possible I’ll grant you that. Oh how cool it would have been to have these options just 5-10 years ago.

That's the problem with this career, it's feast or famine. Pilots in college now, will probably see $250K at age 30, and much higher earnings for the rest of their career on. Contrast that with guys who earned $0 during almost a decade on furlough. That's why I shifted away from this career mostly, during the bad years.
