Default DGI Projected Dates

Hi Everyone

I have built a projection table based on everyone who has upgraded that was hired since January 7, 2015 (anyone hired after this date is eligible for DGI).

It's my understanding that the DGI program says you are eligible to interview 24 months after upgrade. I have referenced individual upgrade class dates from each vacancy, added 45 days to estimate completion of OE, then added 24 months to estimate date of interview eligibility.

Months are referenced so one can see how many people are eligible in each month. Considering DAL only takes 15 people a month right now under the SSP program, one can begin to estimate that they may only take about 15-20 interviews a month as well (the DGI programs says you get first available class date after interview).

Data is based on 7-7-17 seniority list published on EDV website and final vacancies published on website.

Names, employee number, and seniority number have been redacted. This is only an estimate, for planning purposes.

Doesn't the DGI specify that they only interview 12 a month?

Endeavor will submit an average of twelve (12) eligible pilots to Delta each month for interviews at a minimum under the DGI program

Average being the key word there.

Math 2.0 here...

If everyone was interviewed per OPs sheet, that would be 11.5 CAs per month.

I assume that Oct-Mar will be slower upgrade months just because that's apparently how things work here, so that average shouldn't inflate too much.

EXCEPT now all of our CA upgrades (well almost all) are DGI eligible. On the whole, someone hired in 2017 may experience a delay onto their 24 months when compared to someone hired in late '15 - early '16.

But we still won't get a flow so everyone for the love of god just show up to work and do your jobs well, have good attitudes, and don't wear that No Flow = Vote No lanyard.

I believe the last ETD moves on either Oct or Nov 18 so it'd begin after that.

And keep that stupid hat at home too... unless you are willing to wear the blazer and long sleeve shirt with it through Atlanta in August.

Or people can wear it if they want.

Sure, let's just give away another contract provision for nothing while we are trying to negotiate better pay and benefits...

Wearing a hat is no more a contract provision than wearing a belt.
While I think wearing a hat indoors is dorky, just as much as wearing a tie with a short sleeved shirt, it is nothing more than a dress code mandated by the company.

Where in the contract does it say wearing a belt is optional?

Wearing a hat is the exact same thing as telling them you choose to take a $5 an hour pay cut because you think it will make Delta think better about you for saving them money.

Don't wear the hat.
