If Delta management elects to merge Endeavour with Delta there is nothing the Delta MEC can do about it and the Endeavour pilots would have all the ALPA merger policy options available to them.
If they choose to shut the airline down management can hire anyone they choose to operate those aircraft. A shutdown and transfer situation is generally far more difficult and costly compared to a merger unless the acquired airline is in or will file chapter 11. That’s not likely here.
McCaskill-Bond has no applicability here since both airlines are the same union.

Perhaps it’s changed since the Pinacolda merger, however when I was there the Northern Mississippi boys club clearly ran the training department and were, to a man, as described. Last I heard very few of them made it to mainline. Perhaps in addition to the previous description I might add racist, homophobic, mysogonistic bigots who prided themselves on handing out pink slips.
And, no, I’ve never had a checkride bust but thanks for your concern!

Not in this case, as 9E is permitted flying. I would find my way on the merger committee if this happened, Comair wouldn't happen. I'd make sure 9E signed away any rights we had to prevent an RJDC repeat. This did nothing but result in the unemployment of every Comair pilot.
the PWA will be binding upon any successor, including without limitation, any merged company or companies (as defined in Section 2.A)

Management is under no obligation to take our pilots if they take our planes up to mainline, which is a real possibility given Delta's want for control of everything. Customers are willing to pay more to fly Delta.

It’s quite entertaining how you are such an Internet tough guy saying crap about people you don’t even know, but in person....well, you know.

They could shut Endeavour down and move the aircraft and avoid taking the pilots. That would be a expensive compared to just merging. I would however be very surprised if they ever bring that flying to the mainline. Merger or otherwise.
