It has to do with how your cell provider sees the call origin. If your phone sees 886xxxxxxx as “+886xxxxxxx”, it will error and show Taiwan. It’s an error, not some nefarious thing

Glad I don’t have a GS in for today. ARCOS has been stuck on “installing” an update for near 24 hours now.

I can’t even delete it to reinstall while it’s “installing”.

Never mind on this part. Google helped me.

You don’t actually need ARCOS. You can do it all by phone when it calls.
