They were talking about wanting that when they had classes of 35 this spring.

Cpo, for what that’s worth.

Not complete details, but sounds a few days to start, the. Send you home for cbt, then a shortened ground(systems) when you return.

If it’s like anything recently it’ll be push you out as cheap as possible and let line captains train you. It’s getting a little old.

I have to agree with that. A few of the new FOs that I flew with I questioned how they made it through. One was a senior TSA captain who I even questioned how he was a captain. Seemed to not like the fact that he was an FO and it showed.

Quote: I totally understand not wanting to wait, but unless Spirit orders a bunch of new planes, we have way more potential.

Spirit is getting fairly close to running out their order book
NK has gone from 144 aircraft to 270 without a single order. I don't understand the 'need' for an order to grow.

It’s actually 193 on the currently published fleet plan but the posters point remains true; growth will continue.

An additional ~50 airframes were acquired on the open market without an aircraft order. NK will be putting into service approximately 2 aircraft per month through the end of 2021 without an announcement of a new order; All of which are 320NEO’s with the Pratt & Whitney GTF which are proving to be more reliable all the time.

It’s anyone’s guess what the total will be ultimately after a new order is made public but it’s likely to be 100’s more.

Additionally, the latest word from the training department from an internal memo said approximately 300 new hires and 150 upgrades between now the end of 2019!

How’s that for potential Aero1900?

So does that point to classes resuming sooner rather than later. Last I had heard their were approximately 125 of us swimming in the pool. Any word on how many are still left?

So the Pratt & Whitney engines are proving to be more reliable compared to (or relative to) what exactly? It’s weird you bring it up, but now I’m interested. They’re relatively more reliable than they were after their introduction but if you’re comparing them to the GE Leap1A I think you’re misinformed.
