Quote: Not to scare you off, but from what I understand, they have a TON of applications they have to sift though. They also have a lot of relatively high time resumes mixed in. I originally submitted my resume in early June, and renewed my resume in July. I finally got a call from HR in mid August followed by the long application. I interview on Tuesday. It takes some time.
PICsf340, let us know how it goes! I interview in the next two weeks ... I reapplied early September and got the ball rolling on setting up an interview about 8 weeks later. I missed the first call and couldn't get back in touch until almost another month later! I'm a current 121 commuting regional F/O, and I live within 5miles from PDK.

I've been told this will be proverbial "nail in the coffin" for me if I follow through with PlaneSense as far as any future 121 flying goes for me, but I don't care anymore at this point. I'm looking forward to the interview and dreaming of not having to commute to my current job anymore! : )

I will gladly pay it forward. I have been in touch with some pretty helpful individuals during this process. It all seems pretty straight forward. It seems like the company does a pretty good job of taking care of their people. Most folks are in good spirits and enjoy working there, a career stop for many. If I get any curveballs, I will give you a heads up.

What an odd thing to say. Seems pretty closed minded. You already have the 121 stamp, and now you're trying something different. Maybe it works for you, maybe it doesn't. You can always go back to the airlines if that's for you, or you can see what this company has to offer. Personally, it's a pretty fun job that has its goods and bads like any others, and the plane is a blast to fly.

Actually this doesn't scare me off at all. I myself am a relatively high time applicant (~2,700TT), and am not unhappy at my current job, so it isn't like I can't wait.

But that makes sense!

I posted my experience on aviationinterviews. Pleasant experience. Nothing bad to say about what I saw. PM with questions if you need to.

Anyone out there that has interviewed recently and gotten a class date? I was wondering how long it took after the interview to get an offer or TBNT. Also, anyone currently at Planesense that knows where new hires stay during training? Single occupancy?

I was offered a February 3rd class date. Anyone else out there that will be joining me?
