Do CJO’s typically come out on Tuesdays? I know the decision board is on Monday’s but was wondering if they’ll send them out Monday as well.

Unless things are different now, the review board is done on Wednesdays. I interviewed on a Thursday and found out the following Wednesday, which was a torturous wait! Albeit well worth it. However that was a couple years ago so things may have changed since then.

Does anyone know if Hogans or interview invites are still being scheduled, or is the pipeline full for a while?

People from my old shop were getting Hogan invites and scheduling interviews as late as last week. As always, everything is subject to change. Good luck!

My CJO in mid May came on a Tuesday morning. Good luck!

Greetings, everyone. First time poster, but lurker occasionally. I received the e-mail (as shown below) from pilot recruiting, and am wondering what it might mean. Normally, I would have thought it to be merely an auto-generated message, but the last sentence caught my eye. Could this request lead to somewhere, or am I overthinking it? Thank you in advance.

Have a professional organization review your application and soon. Cage Marshall would be one such company. Who knows what is off or missing from your app or timeline. A professional consultant who reviews applications for a living will probably be able to spot it in about 5 minutes. Just guessing, but that’s my 2 cents. Hire a professional and give yourself the best chance of getting on here! Good luck!!

If anything, you're underthinking it. Do what the poster above said, and do it quickly. You may be in the pipeline for an interview and being held up by something you missed in the app.

Not an automated response - hence the typo.

You may not have put in a date where one was requested. AKA - Failed checkride, accident. Professional review may be helpful but the email was specific. Anything you put on the addendum - go add dates and details but don’t cast blame. Aka - mishap/date/result of investigation. Failure/date/resolution.

Edited to add examples (fictional)

Aircraft Major Miship (Dec 2006) - Misjudged crosswinds while flying the C172 MAX and had a tail strike during go around. Investigation revealed minor damage to rear aircraft tie down. Company revised training procedures to emphasize aircraft attitude and rotation rate during go arounds particularly in the extended fuselage MAX variant of the C172. No further incidents of tail strikes have been observed.

T45 Familiarization Flight Check Ride (Aug 2006) - Failed to complete landing checklist during basic aircraft familiarization check ride. Flight Instructor reviewed importance of completing landing checklists and a single training sortie was added for additional training. Check ride was completed the following day and no other issues were observed during the rest of the syllabus.

B1000 LOE Check Ride Failure (Aug 2010) - Failed to turn on "Fasten Seat Belt Sign" and alert Flight Attendants on ATC reported turbulence during first LOE Checkride resulting in an unsafe aircraft condition. Crew was debriefed on prioritization of tasks and the threats associated from splitting flight deck duties while running non-normal checklists. One additional LOE oriented simulator sessions was completed and check ride passed on second attempt. No other check rides failed during the last 15 years with XYZ Airlines.

What Not to Write:

B1000 LOE Check Ride Failure (Aug 2010) - I was Pilot Monitoring during the check ride and was running a non-normal checklist. Captain was Pilot Flying and failed to turn on fasten seat belt sign. Examiner challenged the Captain during the debrief and the Captain said he didn't think it should be that big of a deal. Examiner failed both of us since were were a paired crew.

F/A-18 Class C Mishap - (2010).
