oof...I might have a bit of a wait too. Sitting a little north of 3000 TT now, currently 135, previous 121. Unfortunately even a busy schedule on a light jet in 135 won't build time quickly

I don’t know if the process has changed in the past 7 years or so but when I did it, “meet & greet” was an apt name. Felt like any conversation I’ve had with any pilot I’m meeting for the first time. Talked a little about flying, a little about other stuff; found a few things we had in common. Very relaxed environment.

At Mesa, we still haven't gone past the first decile (cpp only). Absolutely nothing from Aviate on transition numbers.

I walked a friend in pre-COVID for a meet and greet. Basically just the tell me about yourself, what are you doing now, how old are your kids, what are they doing, get to know you stuff. Quick review of your app/resume to make sure you have a degree, and meet the qualifications and then a handshake and out the door. 5 minutes tops. He got an interview several months later. Dress like you are going to the real interview and just be yourself. Nothing technical, just a speed dating style get to know you in 5 minutes deal.
