This is probably the best advice I've read. I really wish I would've seen this before I recently failed the Hogan. I would've answered many of the questions differently. Seven years of waiting and I got shot down in flames after being as honest as possible. Unbelievably disappointing, especially when you live twenty minutes from a United base and the job is a perfect fit for you and your family.

I once saw “Hogan test” written on a bathroom stall with an arrow pointing at the toilet seat covers. I thought, “Well, the Hogan test got it right at least once,” since it apparently disqualified someone who is inclined to write on the bathroom stall.

The hogan test is just a way to weed out another layer of qualified applicants out of a huge pool. It’s goal is the identify personality traits that are undesirable... to include repeat questions that result in different answers by an applicant (big no-no). Bottom line...To pass just answer the questions truthfully and quickly; when you overthink them it will probably result in a fail.

As mentioned, if you have right to work/abode, U.S. certs/ratings, as well as a degree, etc.
