Quote: If he has the time, can't they remove it when he does his type ride assuming they're hiring non-type rated still? I mean, they are advertising they'll take people from ATP with 1500 hours, so if that's the case it probably wouldn't be an issue.
That was actually suppose to happen at my last type rating but somehow got taken off at the end and I was left with the restriction still on there.

Quote: He will have to prove his 25 hours and it has to be signed by a person with no restriction, and only the FAA can do that.

Just make an appointment at a FSDO and do it takes 10 mins once your there
I was having trouble finding a DPE but was finally able to find one and get it done via zoom (thank goodness since I'm never home!). Once I found the DPE it was simple.

I was always going to get it taken off I just didn't know if I had to wait until it was done to apply. Thanks all for your help!

more to follow. My source say only enough cash to last till the end of next week. Then it’s bye-bye for the 8 striped pilots.

I applied a few weeks ago but haven’t heard anything back. Will they give me a TBNT? ATP with just shy of 2000. Am I competitive?

I know that people have been hired around that number. You just have to find a way to get them to look at your app.

Could they be still just looking for only 737 type rated? Earlier in the thread there was discussion of them not being able to do type rides.

This seems like an interesting company the more I research...

Do most work 14-15 days in a row?
Are there crew houses?
Any talk of home basing?
Any other bases opening?
Whats the 'feel' like there? Generally positive?
what is the profit threshold for profit sharing?

No, more typical airline schedules this month 4 on 3-4 off, home everyday if you decide to live in base.

No home basing it’s an airline not ACMI and they are giving you 1800$ a month for commuting expenses make it work.

Yes Orlando just opened and another on the horizon.

Everyone I have met here has been awesome and positive and a real team player. And if they are not they usually don’t last long.

Not sure on the profit sharing thresholds its going to be set by the investors every year.

Hope this helps
