I am very happy here. Over four years here and I enjoy the job more now than ever. I can't stand the fact that my co-workers tell RJ pilots to go to United or American because Delta sucks. If the cry babies can speak their mind, why can't the other side? I am not the only one. Just maybe the only one who posts on this forum.
Dude... Are you really not aware of the
massive degradation in rotation construction over the last few years? For example, the NYC NB categories, which are 75% commuters, and have degraded to 1% commutable trips? Try for a second to put yourself in the shoes of that category, and the life suck that creates. I'm glad things are working out for you at the moment, but your experience is the outlier, not the other way around.
And that doesn't even broach the way they are executing flying operations lately. I had been rerouted 1x in my career here (granted, some of that was in a WB category with few reroutes), but the last 3 months alone I have had 75% of my rotations get rerouted. No joke.
The company is trashing its hard-earned reputation as a reliable carrier, because Flight Ops can't, or won't push back on network and marketing's lust to 'recapture lost revenue'. They are doing a ton of long-term damage with the massive cancellations, most of which is a direct result to their ill-advised decisions. If you've been here 4 years, you've been here long enough to tell a difference from when you started.
