Ahhh, missed who was making the argument. Reading is hard.

I hope some significant suck factor makes it to your category at some point and maybe you won’t be so narrow minded.

Oh, I almost forgot:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My entire month of June are 5 leg, 4 day trips. DTW320. Again, I am not that senior so I don't understand how I am being narrow minded when I am living the life of a junior, NB pilot. If senior fellas can't bid that's not the company's fault. Oh, and I have weekends off, Father's Day off, and Memorial Day off. My May schedule had two days that were three legs, everything else was two legs or less. "EVERY DUTY LEGS 1-2' ... pretty easy.

LAX-SYD was a pretty easy trip when I flew it on the 777. Fully commutable 29 hr 4 day with 2 legs. Some of the captains on it were pretty out of touch with the NB grind, but even the most self-absorbed of them came across better than you. “My schedules rock, you all suck at bidding” is a very poor look.

I’m truly glad you are happy here and we do need positive outlooks on this forum, but get some dang empathy for your colleagues. We’re all in this together.

There's not a single DTW320B on the June wide report with all 5 leg 4 days, weekends (even partial) off, father's day off. So you either didn't get that from bidding, or your lying. But keep telling everyone how easy bidding is.

Well I am not going to put my exact schedule on here. It would be a dead giveaway on who I am which I would never do. My point is, my schedule is as easy as what I described, just lied on the days a little bit. And yes, bidding is easy. Call up ALPA and ask questions. I do every bid period and they are great in giving tricks and tips. And before anyone says anything, I am very much pro ALPA. I am proud to be a pilot here so I do wear my company lanyard but I am still very much a believer in ALPA and I think it’s a must.

lol nobody asked about your lanyard. I feel like you’re just trying to stir the pot at this point…

I mentioned the lanyard deal a while back in this thread so I’m trying to create some closure at this point. I’m over this thread, over most pilots here, I’m going to start speaking my mind. The next pilot I fly with who chews out a van driver for being late, I’m calling ALPA. The next pilot who tells a jumpseater that Delta sucks, I’m calling ALPA. The next pilot who “forgets his hat at home,” I’m calling ALPA. I’m so sick of immature brats getting paid a ridiculous amount of money to fly airplanes. Freaking quit and try a real job then tell me how much your life sucks. I love this job but cannot stand the pilots sometimes. Always complain, complain, then complain some more. I will always vote yes, stand up for the company, and this thread inspired me even more! Peace out my dudes. Y’all will never be happy and I feel sorry for you guys. For the record, if fixing the trips would actually make you guys happy, I would be all for it. But guess what? Once the trips are fixed, it’ll be something else. Then after that something else and so one and so one so that’s the point that I’m at. Just enjoy what we have because most people (at least on this thread) will never be happy. I’m not going to waste my time trying to fix the trips because that won’t solve the issue. The issue is a major attitude problem from a bunch of cry babies. I’ve seen it for years on here. Don’t blame the trips anymore. Blame yourselves.

So you are tired of anyone who doesn’t agree with you, are going to spite call the union (why?) because someone didn’t act just as you would, vote yes without reading what you are voting on, and all of that is because your coworkers are “immature brats”? You sure it isn’t you?

Successful trolling, you got a lot of responses.

Bidding is so easy here that there is a whole niche market where you pay someone to bid for you every month. Would it be too much for them to come up with a “max days off” option?
