As an FYI for outsiders looking in, my June schedule is amazing. Easy trips, weekends off, and my longest day is two legs. Detroit 320. I don’t understand how people are still complaining (at least for my category). How much more can we ask for? I am not that senior either. Do people just not know how to bid? Serious post. I don’t understand how these trips could get any easier. Also, the 350 went somewhat junior so clearly NB pilots don’t care that much about the trips. Food for thought for new pilots who are nervous about the trips here like I was!

60% roughly! And yes, I do not understand why people are complaining. We get paid to fly airplanes, that's what we signed up for and yet people are upset because the company is making us fly airplanes? If they said we had to load bags, fill up the fuel tanks, etc. then I could see why you would complain but that's not the case. I know I am not the majority but I will not change my mind. I am very happy here. Over four years here and I enjoy the job more now than ever. I can't stand the fact that my co-workers tell RJ pilots to go to United or American because Delta sucks. If the cry babies can speak their mind, why can't the other side? I am not the only one. Just maybe the only one who posts on this forum.

I’m NYC ER and our flying is excellent but I still empathize with the 320/737 people whose, through no fault of their own, quality of life has diminished.
as an aside, you said “I will not change my mind”. This is a bullsh!t way to go through life and the cause of much of this country’s problems. I’m ALWAYS willing and ready to have my mind changed by new evidence or a compelling argument.

And that doesn't even broach the way they are executing flying operations lately. I had been rerouted 1x in my career here (granted, some of that was in a WB category with few reroutes), but the last 3 months alone I have had 75% of my rotations get rerouted. No joke.
The company is trashing its hard-earned reputation as a reliable carrier, because Flight Ops can't, or won't push back on network and marketing's lust to 'recapture lost revenue'. They are doing a ton of long-term damage with the massive cancellations, most of which is a direct result to their ill-advised decisions. If you've been here 4 years, you've been here long enough to tell a difference from when you started.

I dunno. I have definitely noticed a improvement the last 2 months as well. Sorry some fleets aren’t seeing the same.

All make good points! I am definitely getting my a** handed to me in this battle but I still believe what I believe! I am willing to change my mind but every argument I have heard so far isn't enough evidence. Keep them coming! Maybe ill change my mind

Nah man you're not alone. I'm NYC73NA and the schedules are pretty nice. I saw the schedules in ATL and decided to commute to happiness. I agree with you that a pilot should with all the available movement nearly everyone on the seniority list should be able to find somewhere that'll make them happy. As you stated A350 went to what, 11,500.
