FWIW, I know someone who is high up at a major airline who is involved with interviews and hiring who says that they will throw away any resume that has GoJet on it. Working at that airline to get hours for a later move to another airline might not be a great idea. They are not though of highly in the industry, to say the least.
Not defending Gojet by any means, but theoretically- how are they different from Mesa and other commuters that the unions are not protecting. I may be wrong- I thought one had to cross a picket line to be considered a scab.
Dreaming
You guys are all dreaming if you think that the major airlines care where you get your experience. No one cares if you work for Gojets or PFT. They are not scabs or villains just working dudes like everyone else who is taking the opportunities presented.

Often it is the risk takers who rise above. Despite what others think starting companies grow faster and it is possible those at TSA will watch new hires at Gojet blow past them in upgrade and experience.

I think that the mistake is in considering the regionals as a career instead of just a rung on the ladder. Pay should be low and upgrade fast.

What the company did was create an alter ego to aviod the contract then offered positions to guys who could now jump the senority list effectivly screwing the other pilots. If they would not take the positions the company would fail due to the fact that they would not be able to crew the planes quickly enough. But in the great race to the left seat greed takes over and alot of honest people get hurt by it.

This is not different from what JO did with Freedom against Mesa which is what created such a ****ty contract at Mesa.

This is what everyone is screaming about. We cannot stop the company from doing it but we can eduacte and persuade the pilots to not jump on the band wagon again lowering the bar.
ALPA has been silent on this. Courts are running the airlines. Courts decided that Gojet was not part of TSA (google teamsters gojets see court brief). Where did TSA get the United flying? Courts cancelled United's 10 year contract with ACA and Air Wis. For the last 3 years TSA got the new jets and quick upgrades and ACA furloughed over a 1,000 pilots. TSA flew the same routes IAD-ALB etc. ACA/Air Wis got the flying from some one else. The scabs are TSA MGT and courts. TSA Mgt should have never done that to their pilots. At least ALPA fought it in court but they never said anything when the teamsters got the vote. Who's flying is it anyway? United express! ALPA's should have won. We need one scenority list at all the regionals. Hire all the furloughed ACA pilots first. Something to stop mgt.
see what happens
see what happens with the courts when you have a big buisness republican in the oval office?
I wonder when one of you RJ crews will get the clue, and during a layover in the islands or in Mexico, decide to "Sell" the airplane to some other party in a faraway land and then retire.

It's been done before. Piedmont 727 lost in a card game by the Captain during a card game at a private casino. Back in the early 80's.

I would really hate to make that phonecall!

That is a true Story. Happened in San Juan. The Capt called the Chief Pilot in CLT from the casino and asked for him to wire some money so he could win her back. He lost the "City of Norfolk", I believe" B727-200-15. She was a fine ship.............Oh BTW he did win her back.

Actually, some may, some may not. This has nothing to do with high motives; most would just like to avoid potential cockpit conflicts. Also, at some point a pilot is involved in the interview process at most airlines. If the pilot interviewing is wearing an ALPA pin, and your resume has GoJet... well, not necessarily a killer, but you are working up hill from there.
Heck, some EAL scabs have been hired at some airlines. Still not something I would recommend.
