If I were in my first 1-3 years here and had a competitive resume, I'd certainly look at DL or UAL. Their future is a lot brighter.

Dafuq? 2-3 bases closing? Are we also furloughing 1000 guys too??? Maybe one base is closing: ANC11.

Yes I have and bumps are absolutely allowed. 2015 changes just made it so it can all happen in a single bid. There will be a MAX and MIN for each base. If displaced, your seniority still allows you to go to another base and if that makes that base number above the MAX then the bottom guy will get kicked out. Go back and read it again.

CGN, ANC 11 and possibly LAX 11.

We've been in the "end game" of negotiations since at least October - when we petitioned the NMB. We still have a ways to go to get a TA that this crew force will accept.

We are still training out positions from the HKG closure from almost two years ago. But yea, sure, we are closing 2-3 bases. So the company wants to make drastic changes that will cause training events for the next three years or more? McKinsey definitely sees the fault in that logic.

Maybe there will be a bigger picture to this on April 5th. Fleet replacement etc. I’d assume 76 and 77 are the future.
